Josey's Art School Art Classes in Arizona: Here is a Wonderful Tree Frog Art Lesson

I found a fantastic resource for creating tree frogs and the results look fantastic.  Make sure to check it out:

Tree frogs are amazing little jumpers with sticky toe pads that help them climb high trees and walk on smooth leaves. You can learn more about these wonderful animals from the National Wildlife Federation guide. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Super Sticky Feet
  • Tree frogs have special sticky pads on their fingers and toes.
  • They act like tiny suction cups.
  • This helps them stick to wet leaves and glass without sliding off. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Eyes That Help Them Swallow
  • Tree frog eyes are very big.
  • When they eat a bug, their eyes sink down inside their head.
  • This pushes the food down their throat so they can swallow it easily. [1]
Masters of Hiding
  • Many tree frogs can change their body color.
  • They turn green, gray, or brown to match the tree bark or leaves around them.
  • This great camouflage keeps them safe from hungry predators

Joseys Art School Episode #105: 3 Rabbit Friends Simple Art Drawing Less...

Rabbits do a happy dance called a "binky" by leaping and twisting in the air, they can purr when they feel happy and relaxed just like cats do, and they have special ears that can turn all the way around by 270 degrees to listen for danger. [1, 2, 3]
Super Jumpers and Dancers
  • The Binky: When a bunny feels super happy, it does a joyful jump called a binky. It kicks its feet and twists its body mid-air.
  • High Leaps: Rabbits are great athletes. They can jump as high as 90 centimeters (3 feet) off the ground in a single hop. [1]
Sounds and Super Senses
  • Happy Purrs: Just like a cat, a relaxed and content rabbit makes a soft purring sound by gently rubbing its teeth together.
  • Rotating Ears: A rabbit can turn each ear separately up to 270 degrees to hear where sounds are coming from. [1, 2]
Body and Vision
  • Almost 360-Vision: Their eyes are placed high on the sides of their head. This lets them see what is behind them and above them to watch out for hawks and other animals.
  • Endless Teeth: A rabbit's teeth never stop growing. They chew on grass and twigs all day to wear them down.
