Creativity and Movement: Make Some Music with Your Turtle Tambourines

The rain has paid a visit quite a few times in our outdoor environment. This can be a little tricky when trying to plan projects outdoors. You have to take into account the rain and the potential winds. Our environment has a slope in the middle so the water pools right in the middle of the outdoor classroom until the drains can catch with the downpour.

We made the most of making some sunshine by making a musical instrument we fondly call a turtle tambourine.

I have had a bit of time on my hands with our Fall Break time upon us. Man oh man has it felt good to get back in the paint. To be honest all of it felt a little rusty. But I have believed the advice that I have heard from many other artists which is you just have to do the work. Trudge through the slime of not so great and downright crap in order to prime the pump. Getting to the goodness that speaks your soul... well that is well worth the anxiety that comes with sitting down to the blank page.
