Josey's Art School Art Classes in Arizona: Here is a Wonderful Tree Frog Art Lesson

I found a fantastic resource for creating tree frogs and the results look fantastic.  Make sure to check it out:

Tree frogs are amazing little jumpers with sticky toe pads that help them climb high trees and walk on smooth leaves. You can learn more about these wonderful animals from the National Wildlife Federation guide. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Super Sticky Feet
  • Tree frogs have special sticky pads on their fingers and toes.
  • They act like tiny suction cups.
  • This helps them stick to wet leaves and glass without sliding off. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Eyes That Help Them Swallow
  • Tree frog eyes are very big.
  • When they eat a bug, their eyes sink down inside their head.
  • This pushes the food down their throat so they can swallow it easily. [1]
Masters of Hiding
  • Many tree frogs can change their body color.
  • They turn green, gray, or brown to match the tree bark or leaves around them.
  • This great camouflage keeps them safe from hungry predators
